    Bear Hunting

I haven’t got any yet. Couple buddies have gotten a bear the past couple years in D6. I find a couple every year in D14, but haven’t taken the shot for a few different reasons. Last season I came across the biggest Bear I’ve ever seen in the wild. Just wrong time and wrong place.

    Removing the Barrel and Accuracy

So with a little web browsing, I found your rifle is doing exactly what it should. Here is a couple picture from reviews. All the reviews read the same. Average group size was from 1.25" and up.

    Removing the Barrel and Accuracy

My Mossberg 4x4 has never shot worth a Sh*t until i decided to do a little upgrading. Your patriot is just an updated version of my rifle. If it came with the synthetic stock, you might want to look into changing it or do some bedding work.

Upgraded 300win mag. And simple paint job

So without the muzzle break, I was shooting between 3/4" & 1" groups at 100 yards. With the muzzle break I was shooting just over 1/2" groups. Also I was able to do a better job of keeping my eye on the target during the shot. Down fall was the muzzle blast coming back. It had a lot of pressure...

Upgraded 300win mag. And simple paint job

So the Gracoil plate did help. It took awhile to adjust it to the amount of recoil. I was able to shoot 100 rounds without pain or the fear of pain. I didn't cut the stock down enough to compensate for the extra inch of the limbsaver pad. So my grip was a little uncomfortable. For the amount of...

Upgraded 300win mag. And simple paint job

So awhile back I tried selling a mossberg 4x4 300win mag. Because I hated shooting it. It kicked the crap out of me. I would flinch every time. It was way to light. Had a Crappy stock that would bend and twist with every shot. Since no one wanted it I decided to change it up a little bit. I...

VERY general area to hunt in D19

This is a really touchy question for most hunting people. Especially people on forums. A lot of people have put in an extensive amount of time scouting and finding great spots. These individuals sacrifice certain things to accomplish this. Most blue collar workers put in 60+ hrs a week and still...
