I saw a couple in d14 a couple weeks ago while scouting for deer. They were in a super steep area with thick ground cover so it would not be an easy hunt.

I’m very interested in a 6.5. Been comparing them for a little while. I was leaning towards a 260 rem but the 6.5 PRC seems tough to beat. But I think that will be next years gun for me. For now I’m leaning towards the 7 rem mag. Although I am very interested in the 300wsm

Forgot to mention distance. I would like to hunt out to 400 yards. Probably target shoot out a bit further. I do think the t3 with a nice stock would be a good choice. That’s what I’m leaning towards. The gun and a nice stock would probably be right about 1000$ too. I’ll look Into the 300wsm.
