Next week A22 opens back up and I've seen a lot of turkeys coming by. What do I need to do with a bird once I kill it? Does anyone have an easy way to pluck the feathers off? Thanks for your help.
JR you're killing us, great to see your dad out there with you(great guy). Make sure he's in town when we come in Jan. love to see your mom and dad. Oh yeah that Utah buck in velvet is sweet, perfect symitry, did you preserve the velvet. Mike this site is going off!
I've never bought one of these and never will! I chance it and if you get a ticket you just simply post someone else's pass number or pay the $5, either way it's worth the gamble and I believe I already pay state taxes
I TOO PREFERE STAND HUNTING IN SO CAL. YOU CAN HARDLY MOVE ON THE GROUND IT'S SO DAMN DRY AND LOUD DOWN HERE, HOWEVER AFTER A SLIGHT DOWNPOUR IT IS NICE TO GET ON THE GROUND AND DO SOME STALKING.
Great job Jim! Nice looking deer. This is Matt from the Utah trip. Haven't been out too much but did almost get a shot at nice forky on Palomar one morning before work. Will be up on Laguna a little later in season, possibly D-16 rifle season but with bow. Take care and good luck in the field.
