2020 D16 Scouting Reports

Been out scouting 4 times in the last 6 weeks. I have been seeing deer every time I get out. Had a buck this morning at 300 yards cruising around. He has potential to be at least a 12” wide fork. The boys will bring the pain if he shows himself during season. Nothing is safe we are running one boy with a G13 and the other with a D16. I should have a Muzzleloader tag for the end of the year as well. That tag will pretty much be my only chance with out the boys.
lots of snakes out keep your head on a swivel. Had one about 2” from my boot last weekend.

Took the boys on a drive last weekend and seen a ton of doe on private close to the road.
Got out today to look for poults….Took some pix of this guy on my place.

I saw two hens with at least 15 poults last weekend.
Only saw two hens with confirmed poults...It looked like they had 4-6 each...Little guys & girls

Got out scouting on Sunday. Found this little guy and a doe utilizing the same bedding area I've spotted deer in years past

Dang it it looks like the boys have competition for their D16 monster buck!
Watched this forky last weekend. Man it’s nice to be out looking for deer.

Great deer weather on the books for this weekend. Rain most of the night and then cloudy most of the day tomorrow. I probably won’t get out until Sunday.
