Me and my cousin got out for traditional opening day of trout , we had to hit a few different spots with some having some extreme rock hopping. The 3rd spot paid off with 9 trout in that section and one coming from the first spot. It was so nice to be out and get rewarded with some fresh trout for dinner. We used spoons, worms and eggs being the sole winner and stoked the show drifting them. Seen some Deer and some turkey and one goose came up to visit besides that we found ourselves plenty away from the unusual amount of walkers and what not for this time of year. Nothing big but a great time spent out in my second home NATURE. here a few to share until next time TIGHT LINES & STRAIGHT SHOTS TO ALL.

Ahh, he's a good buddy, he'd have done it for me. I almost went with my brother to the upper Tuolumne. I'll let you know if he did any good.

Looks great CAL! And man can't be a day on the water like that. Never fished a river for wild trout. I'm definitely missing out. Only fished stocked lakes.
