Yup, that's all that's left until dove opens. I would love to hunt Argentina for them, crazy down there. Right up Hatches alley.

Speaking of dove.. this little white wing just hatched in the cactus on the estate..gonna have a twin bro or sis real soon it seems..handsome little fella ain't he? Come on Sept 1st!! Hope he sticks around... KAPOOW!!! Jalapeno popper in the makin!!!! YUM!!

For most my life opening day of dove season was the traditional opening of hunting season...Now, with euros so prevalent in SoCal...It's taken a little of the opening day feeling away, but certainly not all of it....My dad loved big buck hunting, but dove opener was always looked forward to.......
