To add to what Steve has said, which I agree with. It was falsely reported that his mother drove him too Kenosha, she did not, he drove himself. His mother did not know where he was at the time, or the fact that he had a weapon which belong to a friend. Is that poor parenting? I don't necessarily think it was. He was 17 at the time, at what age do parents ease up on over watching their kids every move.Fred,
With all due respect. this boy has nuts the size of beach balls...Who amongst us would take a stand to protect his families property against a mob that is hell bent?
He not only traveled to protect, he actually tried to retreat to the police...The 3 criminals that actually attacked him were armed and will were willing to put their lives at risk...They also knew that the police, like in so many other cities, were told stand down...At what point do the people of America say enough is enough with destroying this great country?
Kyle Rittenhouse is a hero...His actions will have far reaching ramifications for the freedom loving people of our country...It also sets a precedent that politicians will not soon forget...Defend our cities against these people who want to divide and conquer it.
God bless Kyle and God bless America!........
With all due respect Steve, Anyone threatens my family I won't go to town to take care of that I'll do it where ir needs to happen, nuff said with that. I agree he should have retreated to the police he had no authorized business there Nuff said with that. You are offering your opinions and I respect that but not looking to the end game of all if this and what would have been the right thing to do IMO, He should have never been there and that would have shown better that him ending someones life. None of this will turn out well for second amendment. I ask you how do you know what his intentions were ? Did you talk to him before hand? Do you know his life story or his parents ?. Do you think the people that oppose gun ownership will concede and say that this was OK ?. This has probably made the gun owner question even worse considering the current climate. I had nuts the size of beach balls when I was seventeen as well. Guess what, I was testerone challenged once and thankfully learned better as time went by and my parents held me at bay. Once again I will ask the question what parent would let there juvenile child enter into a fray like this and if so where were they ? He will live with this for the rest of his life and I hate to say it but his name will probably come up again and probably in not a good way.
Kyle is not a hero he is a pawn in the game and will suffer for it forever and I would guess if you asked him tomorrow morning he would not know how to answer the hero question and would say he wished he hadn't been there. Politicians don't care about what happened today decision wise. Do you think Bernie and AOC , Ilmar and Nancy will change ? They will twist it into why we should be disarmed.
Very well stated. He greased a Peter puffer that raped little boys..and a wife beater/drug dealer...good riddens douche bags...a couple of 5.56 rounds were to light IMHO..
That sums it up!Things I didn't know until the trial:
I didn't know that Kyle put out a dumpster fire that was being rolled down to a gas station to blow up, with people all around.
I didn't know that the Police were told to stand down as businesses were destroyed.
I didn't know that Kyles Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois.
I didn't know that Joseph Rosenbaum knocked him down twice and then attempted to kick him with lethal force to the head.
I didn't know that Huber had hit him in the head 2x with a skateboard.
I didn't know Gaige Grosskreutz, a felon in possession of firearm, aimed his gun at Kyle first, as he admitted on the stand.
I also didn't know that in the State of Wisconsin, it is legal for Kyle to have a gun, even at 17 (which was why the gun charge was dismissed).
I didn't know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do.
I also didn't realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted child rapist and that Huber was a 2 time convicted woman beater. I didn't know that Grosskreutz was a convicted Burglar with an assault on his record also.
IF THE MEDIA DID THEIR JOB... we would ALL have known this!
Something else to think about. This kid spent 14 months in jail for a crime he didn't commit.
Time to see a lawyer.Things I didn't know until the trial:

Steve once again with all due respect, I believe you are twisting two different things together. The change in goverment and socialist policies has little to do with the aquital of Kyle Rittenhouse in a direct light. He was found innocent of murder because the jury found he was defending himself, nothing more, with the limited amount of media coverage I was able to review I agree that the jury made a good decision. The politics of this country are changing but his aquittal is not the mile marker on how folks in this country think about social policy just a check that some folks are willing to look at the facts in a possible life and death confrontation. The people that died because he had to defend himself he knew nothing about until the media who did not tell the whole story of the kind of character they posessed ( not model citizens for sure). The change in the culture of politics in this country is something that must be dealt with away from these type of incidents. If we all want to move towards what our beliefs are we must look at educating the populace in a non confrontational way as to how this country works best and how everyone can acheive their dream without being paid to do nothing and that violent protest and destruction of property will be dealt with by the laws that currently exist.Well, all I can say is, I can't disagree with you more...And I'll ask you again, when will enough be enough of the socialist/commie takeover of our country?...It is time to fight back!
The fact is, he was found NOT guilty for defending himself...Every gun owning American can breath a little easier, if put in a life threating situation...Thank God for him and others that have fought the liberal cancer that is eating away at our country from the inside out.
