Breakfast after Band Tails on Saturday

Had a good hunt today with @SDLIVIN, @steveo007, and @SurfNHuntSD. Great weather on the mountain. Band tails were scarce yet we each had some chances. Didn’t limit out but a good hunt always ends with everyone looking forward to the next hunt (dropping some yotes in January, and then the turkey tune up in Feb).

Matts little honey hole kicked out a limit for his brother and one for him. I should have gone there instead of the club ... never pulled the trigger. But the Bird watching was phenomenal.

I could have gotten my limit easy if my barrel was 500 yards long, this year they were flying high and fast all heading east. that's how it goes some years are better than others.
Dan, again thanks for the invite. Had a good time with you, SurfNHuntSD (good shot), and Steveo. Like they said, they were out there, but scarce and high flying, but enjoyed it! It was a perfect day to be on the mountain. Who's going tomorrow?

Went back up this afternoon with Jacob.....We ended with 3 and lost #4 in the jungle (Chaparral) that is Palomar.
