My good buddy just texted me pics of his giant from Colorado and I thought you guys might enjoy a pic heavy post. He flew out Thursday night to his brothers house and they began scouting Friday. They saw some small bucks Friday but nothing crazy. Saturday they saw some average bucks that they put in the bank as potential “last day bucks”. Today was a little different. They got out to the same spot that they hunted last night and started glassing early. Right off the bat they glassed up a nice 5x5 but it wasn’t as big as they were hoping for. Soon after my buddy Tanner glassed up a few does and started scanning for the buck. Within a few minutes of seeing the does he spotted the biggest buck he’s ever seen on the hoof. After a mile hike to get a decent shot he found himself within 120 yds of this monster. He made an excellent shot and will be eating good for the rest of the year. 28” wide 6x4. The first few pics are smaller bucks they passed on the first day.
