Good luck on that hunt. Ive been really intrigued by X9B. Id be very interested to hear from you on your scouting trips. If you ever want some company Id love to take a weekend up there scouting around. I dont mind driving.

Let me see if I am right.
I got a G13, If I can’t get an A22 I could get an AO,
Then hunt for a buck during archery season and either sex with rifle on general season.. ?

A D16 can do everything an AO can and oyu can rifle hunt with it. You definitely want a D16 to accompany your G13 in my opinion. Gonna really suck if you are rifle hunting and a nice B&C D16 sporky pops out in front of you and you cant shoot it. You can hunt archery for bucks the first few weeks of September with a D16.

I love hunting season! This thread gets me so pumped!

well it was my first draw so i applied for all big game and ended up with A22. till next year!
did build points for all species though. gotta start somewhere

I thought that G13 was either sex. I got it wrong.
D16 is next then.

AO = Archery Only = fork horn buck.
D16 = general season archery and general season rifle = forked horn buck .
G13 = doe only , rifle or Archery.
During the G13 season..
An AO will allow you hunt general season archery.. and general rifle season except with bow only.
Be best pick up a D16 tag if you can.
