I'll think about it lol. I never hunt the 16 hard, or anywhere else for that matter. The good news is my standards drop every day so he may be in trouble.

Heading out for CO 3rd season next week. I'll post up a report on that.

Put a great stalk on a spike with my 8 year old on the opener. Impressed by how well the little man kept up even though it was his first time side hilling. Fortunately the buck didn't have a fork or else I would still be sore.

Had a nice forky on an neighboring ridge at 200 yards a few minutes before sunrise on sunday but didn't have a chance to shoot with him walking away from me into some thick brush over the Ridgeline. Still questioning if I should've taken the shot or not.

Got as close as you can get and not finish this morning. Was helping a friend. Buck and his does simply disappeared. AZ next week and we’ll see if we can’t dig up a good D16 buck when we get back.

Nice!! I will be tagging along with #3 on the 15th here in the desert looking for the elusive desert mule buck..hoping I don't have to carry anything as I don't have #1 or#2 this season ( deployed to parts unknown protecting this great country of ours so we can all continue to Hunt!!) I plan on stuffing every last thing into #3s pack...I might carry the empty water bottles..I'm a giver like that..hez damn lucky I'm his Dad .
