Getting pumped for the kids!

Just over one week to go and the turkeys have found SYE Preserve.....Gobblefest early for a good reason....14 jakes and at least 8 longs in the historical roost trees....With good weather predicted for the 10 next days, I hope these boys and girls hang around for at least 8 more....They're in the zone....

ps....Hope the Wiley's don't scare the hens off....

Every year I suggest a adult hunt on county property...And every year, I realize that it's a miracle that we have this youth hunt....

I also try to explain to them that without adult hunters and mentors, they'll be no new hunters...Hasn't worked so far....

Well obviously it’s because hunters have nothing to do with turkeys being there in the first place. All hunters do is kill stuff.
