Great last day

Had a great last day of the season. Went to a new-to-me spot that a friend directed me to and we just had a ton of fun. Lots of birds, minimal brush busting and good dog work. We both could have shot better but agreed that it was the funnest day of quail hunting we had had in years. This area really lended itself to hunting up singles after the flush.

Yeah in my opinion population growth in California is the biggest threat to wildlife numbers. Also a lot of my old good spots are really overgrown and need to burn again. Just isn’t any fun wading through brush all day.
