Diesel was a special dog. He had quite a story, and I was incredibly fortunate to have him as my friend.

He was an outstanding quail dog with an unwavering desire to please. Whether in the field or at home, he gave his heart to everything he did.

He will be deeply missed, but he'll never be forgotten. He was a very good boy; my heart is broken...

Sorry to hear that John, losing a dog is always the worst day of the year. The bond with a hunting dog is even deeper and they really are family. I went from three to zero in the last couple of years and I think about them all daily. Diesel is working the great hunting grounds in the sky, I have no doubt.
