That's so true. But from what I see, all these kids are shoved into over populated classrooms with one teacher and she or he is pushing their liberal beliefs on the class. Next thing you know they're all mindless liberals.
That's why we've been homeschooling...

No surprise that this happened, look at how Ebola was stayed, it was not a cure but a mind shift among the populace that was in danger and what they did when they realized it was each individual's responsibility to follow the protocols and limit the spread. America's population has the mindset that its not me its someone else causing the issue with this. IMO unless the population embraces a communal effort to stop this it will go on for a very long time and if state and local goverment does not do their job it will get worse. The feds can offer advice, directives and support but it is up to each city, county, and state to adminster the directives that take us to safety based on science and not public complaints and outcry . Newsom needs to work harder at working with local goverments to stop this. Listen to his updates he beats around the bush and does not point fingers much. The science is starting to accumulate and we are beginning to understand and it appears not to be the mass gatherings that happened (we'll see) as out break tracking is getting better. Bottom line IMO believe it's real, limit contact, practice safe behavior and sanitize.

farmers, ranchers and people in general could not find work. Banks will repo homes and land in a heart beat.

The main issue I have with this entire situation is the political influence. If it's not obvious to everybody by now that the mandated rules and regulations are NOT just about health and safety , you have blinders on.
The Potus says " we must open schools for the fall" the blue states rapidly reply with the counter order , " no fall sessions " . You are seeing at least one county ( OC) going forward with school sessions.
This situation is and has effected all of us to at least to some extent. My heart goes to the small business owners who just can't catch a break. Open , close , open , close. Between the financial burden that this situation is placing on not just the state but the entire country and the social unrest I do believe that our current generation is going to be greatly effected , long term social and economic effects.
After the election , will it change ? I believe it will but November is a long way off especially when you wake up every morning wondering what the powers that be have in store for you today?

Yeah, You'll notice the big uptick is in the 18 - 40 year old age group. Just the demographic that was out "protesting" yet the left-lib politicians will shut everything down except the "protests". Also, regarding the schools. I haven't had time to search and verify this but a Doctor on the radio yesterday was saying NO ONE in California under 18 has died from COVID. So why are they closing the schools? Edit: I looked it up, it's true... https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/COVID-19-Cases-by-Age-Group.aspx So, using those stats the 0-17 is approx. 7,425,000 and they have accounted for about 28,000 cases and no deaths. That a 0.00% death rate and a 0.37% infection rate.

A mask is a determent to your health now... if somebody can't breath though a paper towel then the top of their list of things to be worried about should be coronavirus because that'll kill somebody whose lungs are that weak for sure.
I am going to kill so many animals this fall.
