At 5000 ' plus. My brother had 160 acres in the Paiute Mt. with access to another 800 acres. All 6500' plus. Had some great Mt Quail hunts there. Best eating quail by far, IMHO

Here in OR we find mountain quail at 2,000'+, This year has been an epic year for them... Tasty little fellas.
