I don't see Wister ever becoming San J (which has it's place in the waterfowling experience)...Hope to be pass shooting some snows in a couple of weeks...

I’ve been next to a few skybusters at Wister and I don’t even go that often.

There were a bunch of snows in the closed field yesterday, I could see them from the blind but they knew better than to fly over.

My friend Mike had a ressie....We took a lesser spot, but it's where I like to go when I haven't hunted Wister much (which used to be never)...We did pretty well....

Thats great, my dad and I drew #14 on the sweatline and had a great day too. My sprig was the last bird of the day, that was exciting.

Between BBB, BBx2 duplex, and 1x3 duplex, all steel, 1 1/4 oz in 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch shell, which would be the best option for pass shooting snow geese?

Dead Coyote loads and a extra full choke

Agreed. But 50 yards to some is actually 100. That's where the problem lies.

The selection of pass shooting rounds are already at the blinds, the kids stumbled on the wister stash ammo today in T10 ,4 new full boxes under the pit blind lid ,that didn't get put back on the blind after the closer .lol

I heard over the jr hunt weekend at wister, they may change the check station sweat line draw to 3am mourning of the hunt day

Praying they don't. We don't need to change anything that has worked for decades to make it more like SJ. 60 to 80 plus people in the sweat on Saturdays was enough
