WOW! Maybe I just haven't checked any Pheasant Clubs in the last few years, but that seems pretty steep to me. Many, many years ago, I used to hunt what is now known as High Desert Hunt Club on a regular basis. It used to be called Rancho La Liebre and was a lease of the old American Sportsmen's Club. We didn't hunt planted birds back then, it was all native quail and dove. I did manage a couple of ducks once off of a small about 1/2 acare pond on the properety.
