Finally got around to working up a mount for my first deer this past season. Wanted to do something a little different from just mounting it on the wall on its own and came up with an idea of what I wanted and just had to figure out how to make it happen.

I did the euro myself and found a pallet from work that I liked the wood grain on so I glued 5 boards together and cut them down to a 23x18 rectangle and found a local guy who lives nearby to cut out the shape for me and even laser cut some mdf for my waypoint marker.

Once cut I did some light burning on the wood and gave it a coat of stain and a once over with a clear coat. I wanted to skull to hang against the board so I fashioned a bracket to get the look I was going for.

Just need to find a spot to hang it in the house.

Love it bro! That 30-06 is a hammer! You still have the shell? If you do, super glue it next to the euro.

You starting a podcast, R2R idaho?

Super pumped for you.
Thanks dude! & yea the first thing I did after I shot was rack another round and picked up my casing. I was thinking about doing that. Will have to see how it looks!

And yea man that 30-06 finally got to eat this season!

& idk about the podcast..gotta get some more kills under my belt lol
