I have hunted outside of Springville but that was 10 years ago. No telling what has changed there but always saw deer outside of Springville.

I'm glad we moved. It was tough, but we have no regrets. The hardest part is being away from family, but I don't miss the BS politics there so it's nice to live where you are still free. I hunt my own land and I'm no millionaire so chances of me ever being able to do that in CA is unlikely.

Deer season officially opens tomorrow in the great state of Michigan. With my two tags I can take a doe or a spike, and a 4-pt or better. I had a decent 8-pt on camera, just need him to show up when I'm in the stand! Should be an exciting season. The best part is, I'll be hunting about 300 feet...
