X10 is a tough zone to deer hunt, very low deer density. Another factor that makes it tougher than some is the extreme amount of fishing pressure and off-roading pressure. I know 3 guys that hunted it last year (individually) and they saw 1 nice buck while scouting in July and then nothing...

I do not believe that a CCW is a loop hole in the no carry while archery deer hunting reg. I do know some that choose to carry concealed regardless. Another good addition to your side arm and ins policy is an inReach (or similar) device.
