x zones in the sierras are all about the weather pushing them off the mountain. You will have to climb high to find deer that time of year.

Maybe if the weather is right for that but if it is the deer will be higher than that if you can drive that far. Been in those units and hunted with folks that knew far more than I . Also drought will affect the hunt as well. I hope others who know the area reach out to you.
