That day is burned in my mind forever, the year was 2007 , Just married and as happy as one gets. AZ /NM border near Springerville, a low harvest area that I put in the work a few times before and took elk eveytime I went, Had to leave the next day becauase of the fires that broke out in SD county the day she shot it. Not so good now for elk. She's still my bride...Great photo Fred!
I usually don't fish on a hunting trip... I try to stay focused. I was young and dumb back then... Ed FView attachment 54877
Similar thing happened to me. I had a stringer full of Crappie and it was staked out. When I went to add another fish to stringer there was a Muskie attached to my fish. He got three of them.Funny thing about the crappie in that picture. One minute later Isaac threw the stringer in the water without tying it off to a rock etc. watched the stringer and the fish slowly disappear. Good time.
CT 70. Great little trail bikes. Wish I still had it.@Lungpopper is that a trail 90 in the background?
