Harold and Kumar go to San J

Keep in mind the gun can only hold 3 shells. You guys have target on your back please try and follow the rules down there. A lot of people find this funny but I guarantee people will be watching what # you guys pick.

Could be Benelli/Beretta tubes...Are the threads on top?...Plain old modified is good for most hunting species, especially since steel is required for everything.

It is top threaded, Here is a pic of the barrel and the choke that it came with. The only markings on the choke are 5 notches. I am wanting to put a Carelsons Extended ported choke on it. I figure I could get the restriction, few inches on the barrel and a little stabilization and wad seperation with that choke. They come in a .705 and a .720 restriction. With the steel maybe I should get the .720

Thats another part I need to source. At Wister my plug broke so I was actually limited to just two shots for half the day. After the third shot the “extension rod” for lack of a better term would slide all the way out of the magazine and jam the action to keep me from sliding forward and loading the 3rd round. I had to keep that third shell in the magazine to keep it from sliding down.

Plugs are pretty universal aren't they?

OK...That appears to be a Benelli tube....5 marks means cylinder bore...Zero choke....Used for slugs & buck shot.

Plugs are not universal...Get yourself a piece of doweling and cut to the appropriate length...Really simple on most guns...Just unscrew cap...Take spring cap off (be careful, spring can go flying)...Put dowel down tube and till it allows 2 shells.

If Kumar cant go to SJ and you want someone to roll let me know! I've never waterfowl hunted but I've got 24 mallard decoys rigged up waiting to get some action..could be just as interesting! just saying..

Here is the end of the magazine, look familiar? There is a lip right inside the tube keeping the spring in but I am not sure how to release it.

Most caps have a split...So you can squeeze and take out...I take a small screw driver and work it around the hole in the center and GENTLY lift as you go around...Have your hand over the last part of the procedure...Spring is under a lot of pressure.

Or you can get a piece of doweling that will fit in the center hole and try it that way...Aluminum is better....Cut to length...Then just put the cap back on.

Got the old one out, sheared off from the T, brittle plastic. Dont know how it broke off since its self contained in the Magazine. Will find a dowel to replace it.

Yeah man, that's a good idea. I can't know for sure with this lung shit going on, man. Mama was telling me how I'm wheezing and gurgling while sleeping right now 'cause it's hittin' me that hard. So yeah... Trap...honestly, right now I'm gonna have to tap out of it to be fair to you guys. 'Cause I'm not thinking this will get fixed that quickly, in fact I'm sure it won't.

Alright Larry, hogs and turkey hunts coming up, will hit you up when your feeling better.

Anyone SCH’ers want to go duck hunting?
