The baby rattler was coiled next to the car door.
I saw him first and killed it.
The big one my neighbor killed it.

I was dam lucky I saw this one coiled up in the dirt next to car door.
This scared the crap out of me.
Boots and gaitors from now on.
Other neighbor had one in his work shed this morning.

You know guys they're really good to eat. You don't want them full of blood though. Skin them, debone them, bread them and fry them. Good eats.

I've tried them a number of times...IMO, just not that good and the bones are brutal.

Best to grind them up, and smoke dry
Use as a spice. But taste buds differ.

We also soaked in buttermilk for 24 to 48 hours. That may have helped but I like it. Different Strokes for different folks

That little one is speckled rattler, don't those a lot.
