    Flying with guns and meat

You can also carry on the frozen meat. I did it last year on the way back from TX. I had 50lbs in a cooler that i checked and I put the rest into an Ice Mule backpack. It was all frozen and they did check to be sure. You can also take all your meat on the plane and FexEx your clothes and gear...

An hour into the morning I spotted a few deer and could tell at least one was a buck. I didn't wait to see what he was and headed down after him. I tried to...

Broadheads: Fixed or Mechanical for Deer Hunting

I shoot non vented VPA 3 blade. The biggest advantage I see is they are dead silent in flight. I have had a few deer "jump the string" when shooting vented broadheads. I never really thought about it but they hissed a lot. I switched to the non vented and haven't had a deer duck yet.

Recovering a deer on private land?

We had this happen a few years back. My buddy shot a deer on public land and watched the deer run off and cross the private fence. We were waiting at the truck for the deer to expire and figure out what to do when the GW pulled up. We told him what had happen and that the shot deer crossed the...
