Ick. Yeah... I'll tell ya, they say stuff happens for a reason. I've often thought that my first marriage from 19-29yo probably kept me safe from a lot of the stuff that was going around like wildfire back then,

ya this flu going a round is nasty, I got it first then took a while to kill it.
I had to nurse momma with chicken soup, plenty of natural juice, water, & natural vitamin c , not asorbic acid, that stuff if you take much has bad side effect.
called congenital heart disease (causes water build up around the heart) google the side effects if you don't believe me.
any way it takes a while and it lingers.

He's doing significantly better today, Thank you. I didn't sweat it just yet the other day when it happened to him, because I had just gone thru the same thing the night before. The one difference that had me concerned was that his pulse (which you could totally see in his neck jugular) was pretty rapid. But I reasoned that since he's younger it was an issue of liquid volume dropping, so his pulse was quickening to take up the slack. Same thing happened to me that time I ran outta water at the bottom of that Mtn I had to climb.
We were persistent in trying to give him fluids... but ya know how when you're fever is super hot, how the stomach can very much not like you pouring down things of a different temperature? He was having problems like that with keeping it down. So I wasn't pressing it just yet. We have tons of frozen cubes of lime juice we harvest from our tree, so Mama made some more limeade... even had him taste-test it so he was involved in the making of it, ya know, to ensure he'd like and want to drink it. Seemed to do the trick. Unfortunately he did end up empty his stomach several more times that night, poor lil guy.
He's at 101.9F now. But that was probably because he had a coughing jag before he took it. He seems mostly fine today. He's doing his homework and all that.

While I am fairly familiar with what herbs are for what ailment. They are at best only helping to support your bodies systems. And hate it all ya want, there are MANY things out there that those methods, such as treating likes-with-likes ain't gon' do NOTHIN' for ya. And anyone who thinks they can handle everything with those other means solely? Well... to that I'll just say "The only true freedom any of us really has is in what we choose to believe." and leave it at that in order to be polite.
exactly, we should have the right to chose, that I do agree. but the government thinks they know better.

We should have the constitutional right even if you don't agree.
In a republic the many can not violate the rights of the few.
in a democracy the many can force the few to follow their way.
and this exactly what is happening.
This my friends is a republic not a democracy.
sadly some feel the constitution is an old antique and should be replaced
with a socialist comunist style of government.
I have been told that to my face. unbelievable
if I like ibuprofen and you like Tylenol or what ever then that should be cool.
because every one thinks I should have Tylenol then I am forced to take it.
I am fined or jailed.
it's my body as long as I not hurting any one else.
I don't like to see my friends or family members take to many pharma drugs
but it's their choice. I chose not to take them if I can..
but ultimately doctors push more and more drugs to people in general.
when you see a family member bring out box of a dozen pill containers
for what ever. it's my opinion that's one to many.
and each one of those has bad side effects.
How did the opiate drug problem started, people in pain perscribed
pain killers then got hooked then got cut off. then turn to illegal drugs
then got hooked then became homeless, just like alcohol but worst.
I seen that side with family members becoming alcoholics.

I've had this discussion before and it does pose quite the philosophical quandry indeed.
On the one-hand... we literally almost had TB wiped off the face of the Earth. I think it was Measles too, was almost wpied off the face of the Earth. But all it takes... is for a handful of hosts to not do their part and inadvertantly they end up being hosts... bringing back and unleashing untold amounts of suffering back into the world. So there ISsome amount of case to be made about greater-good with this topic.
But then... as much as I soooooo wish we'd force everyone to immunize for every possible thing we've got a cure for (And I'm a bit biased here because I know first-hand what it's like to have come down with a vicious microbe at a young age which forever changed the trajectory of the quality of my life for the rest of my remaining years) .... I also get, understand, and cringe at the thought of legal precedent.
So for me these two forces present a big Catch-22 situation. And as much as I don't like it... I have to bow-down on the side of personal freedom on this one... reluctantly... only because my mind can totally see how they could manipulate this as a legal precedent for taking away choice in soo many other things. And I loves me some options, yes I do.
