I haven't killed a buck since 2008. Skinned plenty the last two years though. Maybe I'm getting used to tag soup. I wonder if the new automated tags taste better than the old style paper?

LOL............... They don't. I ate a automated pig tag last year. Very bitter !

Some of you might think I'm crazy but this is what I passed on tonight.
I would of shot him but TA has me all JACKED up with talk of a monster.
I've eaten pig tag soup for three years.Don't matter the home raised are better.

Running out of time is right.I thought I had the rest of the weeknights to hunt.
I get home tonight and my wife has plans for me the rest of the week.so I have SAT and SUN to get it done. Really going to have to dig deep this weekend.

LP,

We're A22 hunters, we have the second half of the season ahead of us. That's my favorite time of year to hunt anyways.

I went out yesterday afternoon and didn't see one single deer. Temps were back up to 88 degrees. I'm not going back out until the cool off on Saturday.

My goal is to shoot a local buck over 100 with my bow. To do it, I'll need to put in a lot of hours in the stand and and not shoot the first 85 inch that steps out. Good luck with that............... I think if I can fill the freezer in Utah then I'll have more self control back localy.
