It was Winchester Long Beard....I have not heard of any official ban on it (all lead turkey loads will be banned after this season)....I know it didn't seem to be that much better than standard turkey loads....Hell, the little 20 gauge was just about as good with 6's.

IMO Dispersal is in full swing......Numerous single hens spotted yesterday afternoon, toms with small bunches of hens, and jakes with hens (probably ginnys).

ps.....How about the length of that grass?.....Keep a rainin'.....

Steveo007, with your awesome decoys (yard birds video) I'm sure you can sway them to cross that fence

I find them much easier to kill after the hens are done with them. You can call them in from a 1/4 mile way. Just stay put and give them time to get there. And be patterned for the long shot

Saw a few yesterday......Bigger flocks are kaput.....I couldn't even get a gobble at my usual spots...... ???

There hened up tight. Give them a week or two. It will be a short season so make the best of the first 3 weeks.
