The cows are down in New Mexico

Well the SCH team of NBK, Skinny Hunter, Just My Game, Rusty, JP and Myself (LP). We are in day 4 of our 5 day hunt. We have all 6 tags filled.
I usually post as the hunt progresses but this was a tough hunt this year and was focused on getting my cow down. Pics coming.

Tough hunt this year. A couple of the days were ass kickers. It took 4 days to get it done. Elk didn't want to cooperate and nor did the wind. Good group of guys who all work well together. That has been the key over the years.

Quarter them out, pull back straps ,tenderloins, neckmeat then pack em out. Here is a pic of me with one of NBK’s hind quarters and his backpack.
I packed him and Just My Games pack frames in and the three of us got his cow out in 1 trip.

So, do you guys use radios since out there together? If so, does everybody use an in-ear+vox mic setup? That's something I'd always been curious about in terms of guys who use radios among their team. My figuring being that you'd *need* to use an in-ear setup so the game wouldn't hear your buddy mic-up at the wrong time, correct?

We do use radios and phones to communicate (yes ear buds on a stalk). In many cases we leave a spotter on the glassing spot to help coordinate a hunt setup. Whether you have two guys or six, coordination on each setup is the key. As is good glass. .
