This is my 4th year hunting deer. I got a G13. I thought it would be an easy hunt without much prep due to crazy life and the pandemic. I hunted 10 times this year during my tag time. Unfortunately I didn't get a shot off. I did have multiple encounters and saw more life this time then any other...

I'm pretty excited for October!! I got a G13 tag burning a hole in my pocket. Been out 2times due to work but I've seen lots of signs in the area. Anyone else get G13?? Was I lucky?

Okay I was looking to see if I was going to get a second tag for deer. D15 has lots of them..... what’s up with that??? Is the area hard to hunt or is it just due to the fires???

My buddy and I were out for quail and rabbit. While walking around we came up on a dead fox. The tail had been cutoff. Is this poaching? Cause I hate poachers.

Well in case you all wondering, hunting quail without a dog is hard. Went out this AM with my buddy and flushed a couple but they are quick. Good times!!! I only got one and I had a meal tonight that I harvested!!! Doesn't get better than that! Any tips from anyone on how to hunt without a dog...

I usually get my ammo from Big 5. If not I usually make a day trip to Bass Pro Shop in the Fontana area. Worth it if you want a good legal harvest!
