I’m not saying don’t go but have some sort of back up plan because even on Wednesdays once the season gets going there’s usually a lot of people there on the sweatline. I also seem to somehow always draw a terrible number on the sweatline which doesn’t help
Did wister switch to the new system or are they still doing the yellow card? San j did the new system where they scan the barcode on your license and wildlife pass and then have a license printer and print out your card on license paper.
Also the clubs are being offered big money for their land and water rights from the geothermal companies. I wouldn’t be surprised if that area has 5-10 years max left of hunting
I don’t know much about it but I have a 20 gauge franchi affinity that has similar issues. I have an affinity in 12 gauge that has never had an issue. I have shot hundreds of light loads through it without cleaning and zero issues.

Word on the streets is since shit head newsome went down there the geothermal companies have offered the landowners down there top dollar for their land. I haven’t heard of any accepted the offers but I wouldn’t be surprised to see clubs starting to disappear
The only people who think it’s a good thing are the ones who only hunt a couple times a year. I hunt there every weekend and as many Wednesdays as I can. I’d prefer no counts posted at all
