Another tough day hunting……………. I put in another 5 hours into the stand this afternoon and didn’t see one deer. That’s 3 hunts and no deer. Frustrating ………………………….
But the camera is telling me to stick it out.
Here’s a little deer porn for you. A wide 2x2 and a different 2x3 than last week.
I would take this 90 inch forky in a heartbeat.

Nice buck’s guys, Looks like you both have some good spots worked out. If you stick it out there is a buck that you have not seen yet which is the shooter you’re looking for. Bigger bucks will work those same trails soon, good hunting.

Nice pics guys. Looks like the bucks are starting to move around. The rut will be on us soon.

I hunted most of the day Saturday. Saw a HUGE buck (probably 120-130"). I tried a stalk but got busted by a doe and backed out. Didn't want to blow them out. I rehung two trail cams and a tree stand. Going back out Wednesday.

I know we are real close to getting the big bucks moving and I hope this storm kicks it off. It seems like every year we get a storm like this and than it really feels like hunting season, I see it is going to be back up in the 80's by the weekend.

3x? Looked like he had 4 on the other side. I didn't have time to glass him long as I was in a hurry to cut him off.

Well I took last weekend off from hunting and spent time laying by the pool in Palm Springs with a margarita. But I won’t be missing this weekend. The camera is telling me to hunt the morning at this spot. Hope to see a buck, but will be taking a shot at a doe if she's alone.
( It's raining........ I’m getting the long-johns out )

Great trail cam pic’s guys. Thanks for posting and sharing. I need to get up the hill to check on mine and change the batteries. I just got back from a D7 horseback hunt and now I’m slammed at work. (no deer on our hunt. Think we were a few weeks too early. )

Looks like the bigger boys are moving around with this cooler weather. I missed a nice 3X2 and been watching two forkies duke it out on a constant basis every weekend. Two weeks back I even got to see 13 hogs that I failed horribly at stalking. Time to run the dogs!
