Haven't been on here at all lately, due to buying some property in the CNF and in the beginning stages of building a home. But wanted to share the best part of the property, super stoked to have these natives wondering around!!!!

Not 1 trout caught on the whole lake as of noon when we left. Fished the handicap dock till 10 with 1 bite, then moved to the shoreline near the boat ramp and had 3-3to4lb. trout patrolling the shore in 18" of water. Used power bait on 3 poles, yellow,rainbow,pink,and brown. No go. Even threw...

No rain, no wind, and cold. The deer were everywhere!!! Saw a couple dozen, but the only bucks were spikes, and they were pushing the does around. Very cool to see that much activity.

Plenty of deer, they are just moving right after dark. Hopefully it'll change when the weather cools off. The deer that is far away looks like the good looking 3x3 I had last year. 7 different bucks (5 legal) and 4 does in 12 days.
